Broadcast Journalism

This is an exciting program that has specifically been written to move LCHS to the forefront of high school broadcasting. It is a program that is going to focus on the combination of journalism (writing for broadcast) and television production. Working in an environment that has been equipped with professional quality broadcast equipment students will utilize skills that they develop to produce documentaries, shorts, news broadcasts, promotional videos, sporting events, public service announcements and much-much-more. Students will learn the fundamentals of writing, reporting, and television production which will allow them to seamlessly transition to college broadcasting programs and into the broader world of broadcast journalism.
