Welding and Fabrication

The welding fabrication program at Leduc Comp takes great pride in connecting students to industry. When students enroll in Fabrication 10, 20, and 30 they gain the knowledge and skills needed to enter the welding and fabrication work force. Students will gain experience in the various processes used in the cutting and joining of metals; as well as developing habits in safe workplace procedures. Upon successful completion, students who are intrigued by a career in the trades will be given the opportunity to pursue a welding career in grade 11 or 12 by exploring a Register Apprentice Program.
