School Supplies
The following is a list of recommended school supplies for most students. Some classes may have specific requirements that will be communicated by the teacher.
All students who would like to use a locker for the school year will be assigned a School Lock. These are property of LCHS and are to be used at all times. Personal locks, without permission, will be cut and replaced with an LCHS lock.
Standard School Supply List (Grades 8-12)
Organizational Supplies
- Backpack
- Binders (Several 3-ring binders, 1.5 to 3 inches)
- Binder Dividers (With tabs)
- Notebooks (Spiral or composition, college-ruled)
- Loose-leaf Paper (Lined and a package of Graph Paper)
- Folders/Duo-tangs (Pocket folders for handouts)
- Planner/Agenda
- Pencil Case/Pouch
Writing and Correction Tools
- Pens (Blue and black ink, and a few colors for note-taking)
- Pencils (No. 2 wood or mechanical pencils)
- Erasers (Large, good-quality)
- Highlighters (A set of 3-4 assorted colors)
- Permanent Markers (Fine-tip black)
- Correction Tape/Fluid (Correction tape is often preferred)
- Sticky Notes (Various sizes)
- Index Cards (For flashcards)
Subject-Specific Tools
- Calculator:
- Scientific Calculator (Mathematics 8 & 9)
- Graphing Calculator (Mathematics 10C, 20-1 ,20-2, 30-1, 30-2, and 31 - TI-83plus or TI-84)
- Geometry Set (Includes Ruler, Protractor, and Compass)
- Colored Pencils or Markers
- Scissors
- Glue Sticks
Technology and Miscellaneous
- Reusable Water Bottle
- Gym Strip (REQUIRED FOR ALL PE CLASSES - Appropriate clothing and non-marking shoes)
