Parent Grad Committee

The Parent Grad Committee meets to plan the Grad 2027 event outside of the ceremony. This includes the decorations, booking of caterer and DJ, and fundraising to support the event.

Meeting Highlights from October 6:

Reviewed LCHS graduation events, including convocation and related celebrations.
Discussed the role and goals of the Parent Grad Committee.
Agreed to meet on the first Tuesday of each month, or as needed.
Brainstormed fundraising opportunities and volunteer roles.

The next Parent Grad Committee meeting is:

November 3, 2026 at 6:30 PM in the LCHS Staff Room.

To be discussed:

Student feedback on post-convocation events
Confirm leaders for committee subgroups.
Recruit additional volunteers through the attached sign-up form.
Volunteers who participate in a minimum of six planning or fundraising events will receive early access to convocation ticket purchases.
