Applied Sociology 30 introduces students to the scientific study of human social behaviour, social groups, and societies. It emphasizes the application of sociological theory and research methods to real-world social issues. The overall purpose is to enable students to analyze how society influences individuals and vice-versa, preparing them to understand and critically engage with contemporary social problems, institutions, and change.
