Construction Technology 

Students learn how to safely transform common wood materials into useful products, and gain knowledge in all areas of carpentry and construction. Students will be able to design or adapt plans for projects, and build them using proper construction techniques. Students are able to take all projects home after completion. A course fee will be charged.

Construction Technology 10A (3 credits)

Construction Technology 10B (5 credits)

No prerequisite

Construction Technology 20 (5 credits)

Prerequisites: CON1010, CON1120, and at least one more credit in Construction 10.

May include the following 1-credit courses:

CON2130  Furniture, Box Construction

CON2140  Frame  & Panel Construction

CON2170  Cabinetmaking, Door & Drawer

CON2910  CON Project B

CON2920  CON Project C

Construction Technology 30 (5 credits)

Prerequisites: CON1010, CON1020, and at least 3 credits in Construction 20.

May include the following 1-credit courses:

CON3150  Furniture Repair
