Outdoor Education 10 (3 credits)

No prerequisite

Outdoor Education is a student-focused program that challenges students mentally, physically, socially, and emotionally. Using the outdoors as a classroom, it teaches essential skills for an active, healthy lifestyle. The course emphasizes outdoor skills such as leadership, planning, navigation, survival and cooking, with practical application both in and outside the classroom. Seasonal activities may include kayaking, backpacking, camping prep/camping, and climbing, offering diverse, hands-on learning experiences. A course fee will be charged.
