Leadership 10 (3 credits)

No prerequisite

The focus of the Leadership course is to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary for effective communication, teamwork, and service to others in the school and community. It recognizes that the students must understand the concept of leadership and must be able to lead themselves before they can be effective leaders for others. The goal of the course is to hone these skills through service in the school, Leduc, and the global community. Students will identify and use personal management skills and demonstrate an understanding of effective strategies that will help him/her to be a successful leader. Students will be introduced to different leadership styles through group work and the exploration of leadership.  Students will develop skills to effectively communicate and will write, develop and share a speech/presentation with the class.
